Cates Avenue Co-Generation Project
Provided Start-up services on two 5.5 MW Solar Gas Turbines and two 50KPPH Rentech HRSG's at the NC State University Cates Ave Steam Plant. Work included controls integration, systems performance, and commissioning activities for all equipment.
HRSG are fitted with R&V Burners capable of dual fuel firing natural gas or #2 fuel oil. HRSG's generate 25KPPH Steam unfired and additional 25KPPH with Supplemental burners on-line. Plant equipment consisted of new DA, Condensate Tank, Gas Compressors, and all associated auxiliaries.
